Bullying is horrible, it makes you feel like there’s something wrong with you. You start to question every aspect of yourself. Why me? Is it how I look? Is it how I speak? You blame yourself for how you are  being treated. When you are getting bullied it can make you feel embarrassed and ashamed because you don’t want to seem week.  You are just stuck in the circle, not knowing how to defend yourself.

Depending on the severity of the bullying, it can have different effects on your mental health. It causes your anxiety/ social anxiety to worsen. You freak out in social situations because you don’t want to embarrass yourself. Bullying often causes depression. You avoid going to school, feel helpless and alone. Follow me on my journey of bullying and how it made me feel.

This is my first podcast episode entitled Hurt People, Hurt People.
