Studio 74 CiC is a community‑focused independent media platform committed to producing credible, responsible and impactful journalism. We are part of the Cov Creative Community and work to amplify underrepresented voices while covering the stories, culture and events that shape Coventry.

Our editorial work covers sports, culture, music, and local businesses driven by creativity and bringing hope to the city, along with community issues and creative storytelling. We follow recognised UK journalism standards, working with professionalism, integrity, and accountability in everything we publish. Our editorial approach is guided by the principles of accuracy, fairness, independence, accountability, inclusion and community responsibility.

2. Editorial Purpose

Our purpose is to:

• Provide a platform for emerging and established voices within the community
• Produce high‑quality journalism across sport, culture, music and community life
• Encourage participation in media from people of all backgrounds
• Represent perspectives often overlooked in mainstream media
• Strengthen Coventry’s creative, cultural and sporting identity

This includes coverage from local grassroots events to major cultural moments, and from community sport to Coventry City FC.

3. Accuracy and Verification

We are committed to publishing journalism that is accurate, verified and trustworthy.

• All content is reviewed before publication
• Sources are checked and referenced where appropriate
• We do not publish rumours, speculation or unverified claims
• Information is supported by multiple sources wherever possible
• Contributors take responsibility for accuracy, supported by editorial oversight

• Relevant perspectives are included where appropriate

• We are not influenced by external organisations, sponsors or institutions
